UniCoin Terms & Conditions

These UniCoin Terms & Conditions ("UniCoin Terms") explain how UniCoins work on OddUni (also known as Odds Uni), how you buy them, how you can win and withdraw Earned UniCoins, and the rules that keep the system fair. They apply in addition to the OddUni Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If these UniCoin Terms conflict with the Terms of Service on anything to do with UniCoins, these UniCoin Terms apply.

By ticking "I agree" and using UniCoins you confirm that you have read and accept these UniCoin Terms. If you do not agree, do not buy, use or withdraw UniCoins.

1. Who can use UniCoins

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You may only use UniCoins where doing so is lawful for you. You are responsible for checking the laws that apply where you live. OddUni may limit or refuse UniCoin features in any country.
• You may hold only one OddUni account. Accounts are personal and must not be sold, shared, transferred or operated on someone else's behalf.
• The information you give us (including your name, phone number and bank details) must be true, current and your own.

2. What UniCoins are

UniCoins ("UC") are a virtual currency used inside OddUni to enter challenges and games, unlock features and take part in promotions.

• UniCoins are not money, not a bank deposit, not electronic money and not an investment. They earn no interest.
• UniCoins have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, except Available Earned UniCoins withdrawn under section 6 of these UniCoin Terms.
• UniCoins cannot be transferred, sold or gifted to another account, and cannot be used outside OddUni.
• Your wallet shows your balances. If our records and your wallet ever disagree, our ledger records are used to work out the correct balance, and we will correct any error in either direction.

3. The three types of UniCoin

Your wallet holds three types of UniCoin. The type decides how coins can be spent and whether they can ever be withdrawn.

Bonus UniCoins

• Bonus UniCoins are free, promotional coins: for example sign-up rewards, daily login and streak rewards, missions, achievements, referrals, Watch & Earn, promo codes, drops, Fantasy rewards and giveaways.
• Bonus UniCoins are only spent when you turn on the "Use Bonus coins" switch for that entry or purchase.
• If you win a challenge or game that you entered with Bonus UniCoins, the Bonus part of your entry is used up and is not returned to you; you keep the winnings above your entry. If the game is drawn, cancelled or refunded, your entry is returned in the same types it was paid with.
• Bonus UniCoins can never be withdrawn or exchanged for money.
• Promotional offers may carry their own conditions and expiry dates, which are shown with the offer.

Regular UniCoins

• Regular UniCoins are coins you bought (section 4), plus coins OddUni credits as Regular, such as certain refunds.
• Regular UniCoins are spent first by default when you enter a challenge or pay for a feature.
• Regular UniCoins cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money, including coins you bought.

Earned UniCoins (Withdrawable)

• Earned UniCoins are your net winnings from qualifying player-versus-player challenges and games played for UniCoins, meaning the amount you win above your own entry. Games played against the computer, practice games and free games do not produce Earned UniCoins.
• New Earned UniCoins are Pending for a hold period (currently 24 hours) before they become Available. The hold lets us check results and protect players against errors and abuse.
• Only Available Earned UniCoins can be withdrawn. Pending Earned UniCoins, and Earned UniCoins reserved for a withdrawal that is being processed (shown as Locked), cannot be withdrawn again or spent.
• You may also choose to spend Earned UniCoins in OddUni, but only where you have agreed to it. Earned UniCoins you spend are no longer withdrawable; any winnings from that entry follow the normal rules above.

4. Buying UniCoins

• You can buy Regular UniCoins by bank transfer to the OddUni account shown on the Buy UniCoin page. The price, any fee and the total you must pay are shown before you confirm.
• Each purchase has a unique payment reference. Transfer the exact total shown, include the reference where your bank allows it, and complete the transfer before the order expires.
• You must upload your payment receipt (or give the transfer details we ask for) so we can match your payment.
• UniCoins are credited only after OddUni has confirmed that your funds have arrived in our account. Submitting a receipt does not by itself credit any coins. We aim to confirm payments promptly but do not guarantee a time.
• If the amount we receive is different from the amount ordered, the order goes to review. We may credit the UniCoins that the amount actually received buys at the rate of your order, ask you for more information, or reject the order. Any amount we return is returned outside the app to the account it came from, after checks.
• A late transfer for an expired order can still be submitted and reviewed.
• Purchases are final. Bought UniCoins are not refundable and cannot be withdrawn, except where the law requires a refund or OddUni decides, at its discretion, to make one (for example, a duplicate payment).
• Never send money to any account other than the one shown for your order on the Buy UniCoin page. OddUni staff will never ask you to pay into a personal account or to share your passwords or one-time codes.

5. Spending UniCoins and challenge results

• Entries are taken from your wallet when the challenge or game starts, according to the rules and stakes shown before you join.
• Results are decided by OddUni's game servers. Winnings are credited automatically after the result is settled.
• If a game cannot be completed because of a technical fault on our side, the entry is returned. Where a game's rules set out what happens on a timeout, disconnection or forfeit, those rules apply.
• A win obtained through a bug, error, collusion, cheating or any breach of these UniCoin Terms is not a valid win (see sections 9 and 10).

6. Withdrawing Earned UniCoins

What you can withdraw

• You can only withdraw Available Earned UniCoins. A request for more than your Available Earned balance is refused.
• Each withdrawal must be at least the minimum amount shown on the Withdraw page. There may also be a maximum per request and limits over a period (section 8).
• You can have one withdrawal in progress at a time.

The rate, fees and the amount you receive

• The exchange rate from Earned UniCoins to money is shown before you confirm. When you review a withdrawal you receive a quote showing the exact amount, any fee and the amount you will receive. The quote is valid for a few minutes; after that you must review it again.
• There is currently no withdrawal fee. If a fee is introduced, it will be shown in the quote before you confirm.
• When you confirm, the Earned UniCoins are reserved (Locked) for that withdrawal and cannot be spent or withdrawn again.

Review and payment

• Every withdrawal is reviewed by OddUni before it is paid. We may ask you for information or documents to verify your identity, your bank account or the source of your winnings.
• Processing times are not guaranteed. Bank processing, public holidays, reviews and requests for information can all add time.
• You may cancel a withdrawal until it is being processed. If a withdrawal is rejected, cancelled or fails, the reserved Earned UniCoins return to your Available Earned balance.
• If a payment is sent to the details you gave us and those details were wrong, OddUni may not be able to recover it and is not responsible for the loss.

Your bank account

• Withdrawals are paid only to a bank account that you control, saved under Your bank accounts. The name on the account should match the name on your OddUni account.
• We may refuse or hold a withdrawal if the account details do not match, cannot be verified, or appear to belong to someone else.
• Your saved bank account is remembered for future withdrawals until you change or remove it. Only the last four digits of the account number are ever shown in the app.

7. Fees

• OddUni does not currently charge a fee to buy or to withdraw UniCoins. If a fee is introduced, it will be shown clearly before you confirm a purchase or withdrawal, and it will never apply to a transaction you have already confirmed.
• Your bank or payment provider may charge its own fees. Those are your responsibility.

8. Limits

OddUni may set minimum and maximum amounts for purchases and withdrawals, and limits per day, per 7 days and per 30 days. The limits that apply to you are shown in the app or when a request is refused. We may change limits at any time; a change does not affect a withdrawal you have already confirmed.

9. Holds, reviews and account restrictions

• OddUni may place a hold on, or restrict, a wallet, purchase or withdrawal while we review it, for example where we suspect fraud, an error, a breach of these UniCoin Terms, or where the law requires it.
• During a hold you may be unable to buy, spend or withdraw UniCoins. We will tell you where we can, unless the law or the investigation prevents it.
• We may ask for verification at any time, including your phone number, identity, age and bank account. If you do not provide it, we may refuse or delay withdrawals.

10. Fraud, abuse, collusion and multiple accounts

The following are not allowed and may lead to the actions listed below:

• operating, controlling or benefiting from more than one account, or playing against an account you control;
• colluding with another player, deliberately losing, or arranging results to move UniCoins between accounts;
• using bots, scripts, automation, outside assistance in games, or exploiting a bug or error;
• buying UniCoins with funds you are not entitled to use, or using someone else's payment details;
• giving false or misleading information, or trying to get around holds, limits or verification;
• buying, selling or trading UniCoins or accounts outside OddUni.

If we reasonably believe any of these has happened, OddUni may cancel or reverse the UniCoins involved (including Earned UniCoins and any winnings from affected games), refuse or reverse withdrawals, suspend or close the accounts involved, and report the matter to the relevant authorities. We review cases before taking final action and you can contact support to explain or appeal.

11. Reversals, corrections and chargebacks

• If UniCoins are credited to you by mistake, or a result is later found to be wrong or invalid, OddUni may correct your balance, including by removing coins or reversing Earned UniCoins that came from that result.
• If a payment you made to buy UniCoins is reversed, recalled or charged back, we may remove the UniCoins that payment bought. If those coins have already been spent, we may remove other UniCoins from your wallet, place your wallet on hold, or recover the amount from you.
• If a withdrawal is paid to you in error or for more than it should have been, you must return the excess and we may recover it from your wallet or future withdrawals.

12. Inactive accounts and closing your account

• If your account has no activity for 12 months or more, OddUni may contact you and, if you do not respond, may restrict the account. Before closing an inactive account we will give you notice and a reasonable chance to withdraw any Available Earned UniCoins.
• You may close your account at any time. Withdraw any Available Earned UniCoins first; Bonus and Regular UniCoins are lost when an account is closed.
• If we close your account because of a breach of these UniCoin Terms, UniCoins in it may be forfeited, subject to applicable law.
• If OddUni ends the UniCoin programme, we will give reasonable notice and a period in which you can withdraw Available Earned UniCoins.

13. Taxes

You are responsible for any tax that applies to your winnings or withdrawals where you live, and for reporting them where required. OddUni may share information with tax or other authorities where the law requires it.

14. Changes to these UniCoin Terms

We may update these UniCoin Terms, for example when we change how UniCoins work or when the law changes. Each version has a version number and an effective date. When we make a change that affects your rights, we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new version before your next withdrawal. Changes do not affect a withdrawal you confirmed before the change. If you do not accept the new version, you can stop using UniCoins; your existing rights to withdraw Available Earned UniCoins under the earlier version are not taken away without notice.

15. Liability

• OddUni provides UniCoins and the games and challenges that use them "as is". We do our best to keep everything running correctly but do not promise that the service will always be available or free of errors.
• To the extent allowed by law, OddUni is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as bank or network outages.
• Nothing in these UniCoin Terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

16. Your data

We use your information, including bank details and verification information, to run UniCoins, process purchases and withdrawals, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Bank account numbers are stored encrypted. Details are in the Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy.

17. Help and complaints

If something goes wrong with a purchase, a withdrawal or your balance, contact OddUni Customer Care from the Help page in the app, or email support@oddsuni.com. Please include the transaction reference (it starts with ODU- for purchases and ODW- for withdrawals) so we can find it quickly. We will look into every complaint and reply as soon as we can.

18. Governing law

These UniCoin Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through Customer Care will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, without affecting any mandatory rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
